Support the History Center by Attending the Disco Decade Event on Thursday
Their "Celebrating the Seventies" fundraiser will have everything from Dixieland jazz to disco dance lessons! Travel back to the 1970s with the music, fashion, culture, and food of the years that brought us Saturday Night Fever and Star Wars, leisure suits and bell-bottoms. In Orlando, the decade also saw the opening of Rosie O'Grady's Good Time Emporium at Church Street Station, where the fun and the Dixieland flowed for more than 25 years. During the September 22 event, from 6 to 10 p.m., the History Center's four floors will brim with entertainment and food from the Seventies, including a reunion of Church Street Station's Good Time Gang, live music, and dancing.
At Landon House Apartments in Orlando, Florida, we believe it’s important to integrate yourself into the community, which is why we suggest attending this event. Meeting new people, having unfamiliar experiences, and joining neighborhood activities are the keys to an exceptional lifestyle.
