New Year, New Hobbies: Sewing Classes

If you are a first time participant you will be making a table runner for your first project.  It is quick, easy and will help gauge your sewing skills.  Returning sewers can bring projects that you want to sew. The class project will be discussed the first night.

Sewing Equipment needed for Table Runner: SHARP Fabric Shears (Scissors) Measuring Tape Pins Working Sewing Machine with foot pedal, bobbin and bobbin casing. We will provide a sewing machine for those who need one!

Sewing Materials needed: 2/3 yard of woven fabric in a print you like, can be holiday related but does not have to be. 1/3 yard of woven fabric in a print you like that goes with the first fabric Thread – regular not specialty thread but one that matches the fabric.

Note: The wider the fabric the longer your table runner will be. Average width of this type of fabric is 42-44 inches.   Please pre-shrink your fabric by washing and drying it as you normally would.
